Our Team

Mr. Farchione joined Peregrine in the fall of 1998 as Partner and General Counsel. In addition to handling legal matters, he assists in obtaining licensure, zoning, municipal approvals, and project development tasks requiring negotiation.

Prior to joining Peregrine, Mr. Farchione was a partner in the law firm of Levin & Farchione, LLP, where he practiced for more than 10 years with a focus in the area of commercial real estate. He has extensive experience in developing and financing complex real estate and business transactions.

Mr. Farchione received a B.A. from Hobart College in 1981, and a law degree and a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from Syracuse University in 1985.

Jennifer Zacharek joined Peregrine Senior Living as the Vice President of Operations in October 2020.

Prior to joining the Peregrine Team, “Jen” served for 27 years in memory care and assisted living, as well as in skilled nursing communities, in management and corporate roles, including executive director, quality assurance, social work, admissions, marketing, and sales.

Jen has extensive experience with all NYS assisted living licensures within both for-profit and not-for-profit companies and has also provided operations support in multiple other states as well.

Jen’s passion is working with and building high-performing teams who provide exceptional customer service to our employees, our residents, and their family members. Jen has achieved census growth, improved compliance with regulators, as well as increased customer and employee satisfaction in each position she has held.

Joining Peregrine during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic was no small feat but very rewarding. The power of teamwork, once again, has proven that our care and compassion saves lives, that COVID census recovery is possible, and the positive spirit of our hardworking employees across the industry is unbreakable.
